About Classic Floral Design
Classic Floral Design is a full service "events florist" located in Bakersfield, California. With over 30 years in the floral industry, proprietor/designer Maria Johnson has worked for many exclusive events florists in Southern California. Before relocating to Bakersfield, Maria owned and operated Flower Box in South Pasadena. She was recognized as South Pasadena’s business person of the year in 1998.
Every wedding or banquet is custom designed to fit your needs
We fully service our weddings, banquets and events from delivery and set up to removal and return of our rental items. Owner, Maria is present from start to finish to ensure every detail is perfect.
We offer custom designed personal flowers for the bridal party and family members. Ceremony and reception décor may include: Alter arrangements, arch, gazebo or chuppah flowers, entrance and aisle décor, buffet floral arrangements, centerpieces of all shapes and styles, garlands for tables, cake flowers, bride's toss bouquet* and flowers for the cake knife and champagne glasses*

Our Services include:
- Delivery and installation of floral décor to the ceremony and reception locations
- Pinning boutonnières and corsages on wedding party and family members
- Instructions on proper handling of bouquets for ceremony and photography sessions
- Decorating the cake and champagne glasses with fresh flowers
- Removal of any rental items after the ceremony and reception
Flower arrangements can be transferred from the ceremony location to the reception
Rental items available include; arches candelabras, Ficus trees, white
garden lights, tulle fabric, votive candles, vases, urns, stands and
pedestals.
